Symprove – the best of science and nature combined
Symprove is a breakthrough next generation probiotic food. Developed as a water-based drink, it contains 4 varieties of naturally occurring live activated probiotic bacteria – an industry first. These healthy bacteria are supplied on an extract of germinated barley, a unique process and patented technology. Symprove is lactose-free and does not contain any gluten, artificial colours, flavours, sugars or sweeteners.
Bottled, Symprove can be stored in the fridge for up to 5 months. Each batch is rigorously tested by an independent laboratory before release. This testing far exceeds quality control standards required for the food industry.
Introducing a radical new delivery system, Symprove goes to work within minutes of being swallowed. As a water-based drink, Symprove passes directly to the intestine without triggering digestion in the stomach. Good bacteria begin to multiply within 20 minutes. Symprove works in harmony with the gut. In short – it is symbiotic - and takes part of its name from this.
Other probiotic products on the market are either dairy-based; sold as yoghurts and milk drinks, or capsules and powdered sachets. Yoghurts only hold one type of live bacteria and have a short shelf-life. Capsules and sachets can contain multiple varieties of freeze-dried probiotic bacteria. But these bacteria take hours to activate after rehydration. The body treats dairy products and capsules as food prompting early digestion in the stomach. Good bacteria are often destroyed prematurely, never reaching the lower digestive tract where population and colonisation takes place.
Symprove is already the subject of two independent, investigator-led food evaluation studies. These are taking place at King’s College Hospital London and have a market value of around £3 million each.
Symprove was developed by Founder Barry Smith, following the successful use of Lactosym – a natural probiotic animal feed supplement. Administering Lactosym to livestock and pets over the last 20 years, farmers and vets have seen a visible difference to the digestive system of animals. Lactosym was even taken to Africa and helped to achieve an 80% improvement in the survival of young farmed ostriches. Due to its success rate, Barry turned his attention to developing a format for human consumption and Symprove was born.
More and more people are choosing Symprove to maintain and support a healthy digestive system. Word is spreading amongst health communities as well as online forums.

Symprove complies with the restrictions on health claims but would like to draw your attention to scientific research referencing probiotic bacteria and their benefits.
