An Amazing Kale Recipe from ‘Be Good To Your Gut’

To celebrate the release of her wonderful new book, we’re offering up one of Eve Kalinik’s scrumptious kale recipes from ‘Be Good To Your Gut’!

Kale is well known for its amazing properties, such as being jam-packed with antioxidants, Vitamin C, minerals, and being one of the most nutrient-dense foods on earth!

This recipe for crispy kale chips is sure to get your mouth watering!

Makes around 10 servings

  • 1 large bunch kale
  • 3 tablespoons nutritional yeast flakes
  • 3 tablespoons almond nut butter
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Pinch mineral-rich salt
  • Juice of ½ lemon

Prepare the kale by cutting the leaves from the stalks and shredding them into smaller pieces. Place in a large bowl.

Blitz all the remaining ingredients in a food processor, adding a little water to thin to a smooth, creamy dressing.

Add the dressing to the leaves and massage through. Bake them at the lowest setting of your oven (most go down to 50°C) for 4 hours or until crisp.

Remove and leave to cool. Store in an airtight container. These will keep fresh for up to 7 days.
