This recipe for crispy kale chips is sure to get your mouth watering!

Makes around 10 servings

  • 1 large bunch kale
  • 3 tablespoons nutritional yeast flakes
  • 3 tablespoons almond nut butter
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Pinch mineral-rich salt
  • Juice of ½ lemon

Prepare the kale by cutting the leaves from the stalks and shredding them into smaller pieces. Place in a large bowl.

Blitz all the remaining ingredients in a food processor, adding a little water to thin to a smooth, creamy dressing.

Add the dressing to the leaves and massage through. Bake them at the lowest setting of your oven (most go down to 50°C) for 4 hours or until crisp.

Remove and leave to cool. Store in an airtight container. These will keep fresh for up to 7 days.
