Dr Yella Hewings-Martin

Yella has over 20 years experience as a research scientist and science writer. She holds a BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry from King’s College London and a PhD in Cell Biology from University College London. Yella lives in Brighton. In her spare time, she likes to run and lift heavy weights and bake cakes with her children.
